Kriton Xydas

Kriton (Erotokritos) Xydas is an experienced professional in data science and machine learning, currently serving as SVP of Data Science at Argus Media since July 2018, following roles as VP and Head of Data Science. Xydas has a solid background in quantitative modeling and analytics, previously working as a Manager of Machine Learning Quant at Standard Chartered Bank, where notable contributions included developing PPNR models for regulatory stress testing. Earlier positions include Senior Quantitative Analyst at CRISIL Limited and Quantitative Analyst at Canada Life Investments, focusing on bond transaction analysis and risk modeling. Xydas possesses a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cardiff University and a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
