Tuncay Yavuz

Tuncay Yavuz has worked as a Senior Technician in Western Turkey for Ariana Resources since December 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an Exploration and Resource Geologist for Matrix Exploration Ltd from August 2010 to December 2015, where they led several exploration projects throughout Europe. Highlights of their work with Matrix Exploration include advanced development of a 3Moz high sulphidation gold/copper deposit in Macedonia, tenement evaluation for chromite, copper, and gold in northeastern Albania, resource diamond drilling for a copper/gold porphyry project in North Eastern Turkey, evaluation of lithium potential throughout Europe, regional BLEG (Bulk Leach Extractible Gold) sampling in Central Western Turkey, and resource identification of antimony opportunities in Western Turkey. Yavuz began their career as a Junior Exploration Geologist for Ariana Resources in June 2009 and worked there until August 2009.

Tuncay Yavuz has a professional certificate in JORC Code Reporting from AusIMM, a BSc (Hons) in Exploration and Resources Geology from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, certification from The Geological Society in Elected Fellow of Geological Society London, certification from GEOVIA (Formerly Gemcom Software International) in Foundation Geology in Surpac, and certification from St Johns Ambulance - Perth Australia in Remote First Aid Training.

They work with Elif Gümüşlüoğlu - Project Leader – Eastern Turkey, William Payne - Non-Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, and Volkan Pusa - Mining Engineer and Licence Manager. Tuncay Yavuz reports to Kerim Şener, Managing Director.
