Clément Virey

Clément Virey is an aerospace engineer with extensive experience in hypersonic and rarefied flow simulation, currently serving as an Ingénieur Aérothermodynamique / Méthodes numériques at ArianeGroup since October 2015. Responsibilities include multiphysics modeling and development in FORTRAN across various simulation codes and solvers. Previous positions include an end-of-studies internship at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where CFD studies focused on turbulent combustion in rocket engines, and an engineering internship that optimized cooling channel geometries using ANSYS. Clément also completed an experimental fluid mechanics internship at The University of Queensland, which involved studying subcritical and supercritical flow behaviors. Clément holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in aerospace engineering from Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile, obtained in 2015.
