Thierry MARGAT has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the Launcher System Technical Officer and Launcher System Industrial Manager for Ariane 6 at ArianeGroup since September 2017. Responsibilities include overseeing technical validation and qualification campaigns for the launcher, managing industrial projects, and ensuring the flight readiness of Ariane 5 and Ariane 6 launchers. Prior roles encompass leadership positions at ARIANESPACE, where duties involved managing propulsion departments and ensuring compliance with space operation laws, as well as technical authority on the Vulcain2 engine. MARGAT began a career at CNES as a Systems Engineer for launcher engines, contributing to the development of Ariane 5. MARGAT holds an engineering degree from Centrale Nantes, specializing in mechanical and energy engineering.
