Susanna Mesa

Susanna Mesa is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Ariceum Therapeutics since July 2025, Mesa previously held significant positions including Senior Vice President of Strategy & Operations at Prothena Corporation plc and Vice President of Corporate Development & Capital Markets at Alector. Mesa's earlier career includes multiple senior leadership roles at DBV Technologies, as well as experience in corporate development at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and institutional equity sales at Jefferies & Company. Mesa started a career in finance with an internship at Lehman Brothers. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Georgia, obtained in 2008.
