Craeg Strong has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Craeg started their career in 2000 as a CTO at Ariel Partners, where they were responsible for technical consulting, project management, and R&D for the Hermes project management software. In 2004, they joined SAIC as a Feature Team Leader and then moved on to become a Development Manager and Feature Team Leader at the City of New York, where they managed a team of 30 developers and played a crucial role in the adoption of Agile methods.
In 2010, Craeg worked as a Performance Architect at Unisys, where they assessed and improved the performance of a critical criminal justice system. Craeg then joined Liquidnet as a Consultant, followed by Electronic Consulting Services as a Technical Lead, where they led the transformation of a life-critical criminal justice project through the introduction of Agile processes.
Craeg's work experience also includes roles at HBO, where they were a Senior Consultant involved in full-stack development for HBO's digital products, and at the City of New York's Department of Homeless Services, where they served as a Senior Consultant and contributed to web application development and establishing new technical architecture.
Most recently, Craeg worked at the Social Security Administration as an Agile Coach and Trainer, where they provided coaching and training on Agile methodologies.
Throughout their career, Craeg has been an Agile conference speaker, sharing their expertise and knowledge with others in the industry.
Craeg Strong completed their education from 1980 to 1983 at Saint Christopher's School, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Craeg then pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from 1984 to 1987, though the school name is not mentioned.
