Douglas Pillsbury

Douglas Pillsbury has diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Douglas started as a chemist at Ciba in 1993 and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2014, they worked as a software engineer and integrator at various special projects where they specialized in areas such as C2, C4ISR, Geospatial Intel analysis, and collaboration. In 2014, they became a data scientist and software engineer at BOSH. Later, they joined PAR Government as a senior software engineer in 2015, where they worked until 2018. In 2017, Douglas founded Aries Defense LLC and worked as the CEO and founder. Douglas'sareas of expertise include network, hardware and software engineering, complex data capture and analysis, and data communication and visualization.

Douglas Pillsbury completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Chemistry from Old Dominion University in 1999. Douglas then pursued a Graduate degree in GIS from the same university, which they completed in 2002. In 2015, Pillsbury obtained a specialization in Data Science from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Douglas has also obtained several certifications, including Small UAS Registration from the Federal Aviation Administration, Android from Udemy, GISP from GIS Certification Institute, and Big Data and R Programming from unspecified institutions.
