Eamonn McHugh-Roohr has worked in software engineering roles since 2014. Eamonn began their career as a Developer at Sports Technologies, where they worked on fantasy sports products. In 2015, they joined Luvo as a Junior Software Engineer and helped implement a tutoring feature on the site. In 2016, they joined KEW Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer, where they maintained servers and ran a Django web service. In 2017, they joined SmarterTravel (formerly Cognius and, later, Hopjump) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on back-end Python work, including microservices, Apache Kafka, and transitioning to full stack product work. Eamonn helped build the backend for the hotel booking site and onboarded data from the SmarterTravel Media acquisition. In 2022, they joined Arine as a Senior Software Engineer.
Eamonn McHugh-Roohr attended Westfield State University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
