Derek Li

Derek Li has worked for several companies since 2008. Derek began their career as a PHP Programmer at Akyla in 2008. In 2009, they moved to Rice5 as a Development Team Leader. In 2010, they became a Development Team Leader at Motion Global Limited. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Balance Internet as a Tech Lead. In 2016, they joined Rapid Finance as a Senior Software Engineer & Solution Architect. In 2018, they co-founded Tanggram and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Currently, they are the Head of Engineering at Joyn (Formerly Delegate Connect).

Derek Li attended the University of Adelaide from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Engineering - MEng and a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) in the field of Information Technology.
