Kristine Cross

Kristine Cross is an experienced therapist with a diverse background in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Currently employed at Arise Recovery Centers since October 2017, Kristine facilitates intensive outpatient and standard outpatient groups for adults using a curriculum that incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy and the 12 Steps. Prior roles include providing therapy for CPS referred clients at Positive Influences, leading psychoeducational and process groups at University Behavioral Health/Mayhill Hospital, and individual therapy for adolescents at The Nelson Center. Kristine's experience also spans serving at Gainesville State School, offering community-based counseling through the Center for Psychological Development, and providing supervised visitation services at Counseling Center of Decatur. Kristine holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Mary, earned in 2008.
