Steven Evans

Steven Evans is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and consulting within the telecommunications and networking industry. As the owner and consultant at Arise Ventures since 2005, Steven specializes in advising VPs of Product Management and Marketing, particularly in integrating new capabilities such as VOIP and Metro Ethernet. Prior to this, Steven held senior product management roles at Avaya, Gotham Networks, and Nortel Networks, where expertise included launching a successful product line for metro Ethernet switches, managing Ethernet switch products, and driving significant sales growth. Steven’s career began at GTE Internetworking, where impactful marketing strategies led to a tripling of customer base and revenues for an Internet firewall service. Steven holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Gordon Institute of Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
