Care Advocate at Arise

Aims Babich has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. They have worked as a Care Advocate at Arise since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Peer Mentor at You Are More Than Inc. starting in September 2021.

From January 2019 onwards, Aims Babich worked as an Independent Consultant, focusing on nonprofit, mental health, and corporate healthcare organizations. In this role, they facilitated trainings and provided long-term support to clients. Their training topics included Survivor Allyship, Marginalized Intersections of Human Trafficking, Harm Reduction, LGBTQIA+ DEAI in Healthcare, and more. They also served as a facilitator for various survivor support programs and studies.

Aims Babich has previous experience as an Owner and Licensed Massage Therapist at Wholesome Healing, LLC from July 2016. In May 2021, they joined The Eating Disorder Foundation as a Program Manager, where they also held previous roles as Mentorship Program Coordinator and Psychology Intern.

They have also worked at the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking, starting as a Leadership Development Program Intern from June 2020 to August 2020. They later returned as a Program Coordinator from November 2020 to March 2021.

Prior to these experiences, Aims Babich worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist at Zen Space from April 2016 to April 2020.

Aims Babich has a diverse education history. They began their education journey at the Community College of Denver, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Psychology. They then went on to pursue further education at Metropolitan State University of Denver, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. In 2016, Aims Babich attended the Denver Integrative Massage School and obtained a Massage Therapy Certification, specializing in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage. Aims continued their education in 2018 at the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, where they achieved the title of Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. In addition to their academic achievements, Aims also obtained certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Red Cross in July 2020.
