Shayna Berkowitz

Shayna Berkowitz has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 as a Student Ambassador at Santa Rosa Junior College. In this role, they assisted new and returning students, providing guidance and support throughout the application process. Shayna was also a Teaching Assistant at Mills College from 2017 to 2020, where they helped students understand and learn course material in subjects such as General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Introductory Biology.

In 2018, Shayna worked as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they gained laboratory skills and successfully completed a molecular biology project involving C. elegans. Shayna then joined Urban Remedy Inc. in 2019 as a Crew Member, providing excellent customer service and promoting health-based products to customers.

At Mills College Cognition Lab from 2019 to 2021, Shayna worked as a Research Assistant, gaining experience in experimental design, grant writing, and co-authoring a study on meta-memory related to the COVID-19 crisis. Shayna also collaborated with Arise starting in 2022 as a Consulting Product Manager.

In 2020, Shayna joined Plume as an Engineering and Analytics Intern, where they gained valuable experience. Shayna subsequently was promoted to an Associate Product Manager role and, later, a Product Manager role. Finally, in 2019, Shayna became a founding company member of A Pulso Dance Project, participating in various dance performances.

Shayna Berkowitz completed their Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology from Mills College, from the years 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Santa Rosa Junior College, where they studied Psychology.
