Binglai Niu is an experienced software engineer currently working in the routing team at Arista Networks since August 2015. Prior to this position, Binglai served as a research and teaching assistant at the University of British Columbia from September 2010 to August 2015, focusing on dynamic resource allocation schemes and energy-efficient network configurations while publishing research in top-tier conferences and journals. Binglai also gained valuable experience during an internship at Arista Networks in early 2015, enhancing internal testing infrastructure. Earlier academic contributions include work as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Alberta, where cooperative multicast strategies in wireless networks were developed. Binglai holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Science from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor's degree from Fudan University, with additional educational experience as an exchange student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
