David Sutton

David Sutton is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and operations. Since June 2015, David has served as Site Lead and Director of Software Engineering and Operations at Arista Networks, where David is also a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to this role, David held various engineering leadership positions at Corvil from 2006 to 2015, focusing on low-level C and C++ development for backend Linux network monitoring probes. Earlier in David's career, roles included Mobile Messaging Architect at Critical Path, where significant expertise in messaging systems was developed, and Metadirectory Architect at ISOCOR, where David was instrumental in designing an award-winning Meta-Directory product. David began as a Senior Software Developer at Retix and holds a BA BAI in Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. Specialties include MMS, WAP, MM7, TCP, and IOS, alongside strong C/C++ programming skills.
