Don Calcagno

Don Calcagno is an experienced healthcare executive with a track record of leadership in population health management and operational improvement. Currently serving as a Board Member at AristaMD, Calcagno previously held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Population Health Officer at Advocate Health, where a high-performing value-based care platform was developed for a $36 billion health system. Calcagno has held various positions at Advocate Health Care, including President of Advocate Physician Partners, where leadership was provided to a Clinically Integrated Network of over 4,500 doctors. A strong background in operations was demonstrated through successes in cost reduction and the creation of unified support services. Don Calcagno holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS in Medical Technology from Purdue University, along with additional qualifications in Artificial Intelligence and computer programming.
