Upinder Dhaliwal

Upinder Dhaliwal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Senior Animator at Crest Animation Studios for three years before moving on to become a Team Lead Animator at Binary Star Ltd. from 2005 to 2007. They then worked as a Senior Animator at Redtribe and Krome Studios before transitioning to a Technical Consultant role at Rockstar Games in 2010. In 2011, Upinder worked as a Technical Director at Dr. D Studios and Animal Logic. In 2013, they took on the role of a Creative Consultant at Various companies for a brief period before joining Aristocrat where they held various positions. These positions include Team Lead Animation, Product Owner, Associate Director | Animation, Marketing Innovation - Portfolio Owner, and most recently, Director - Global Marketing Innovation. Upinder's responsibilities at Aristocrat involved providing technical and creative direction, driving operational efficiency, identifying and resolving production cycle issues, leading a specialist team for developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using augmented reality technology, and validating and qualifying engagement gaps in customer engagement.

Upinder Dhaliwal completed a Diploma in Animation and Visual Effects at Vancouver Film School from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, graduating in 2001.
