Ritch Shepherd's work experience includes roles such as a Data Analyst at Aristotle since 2019. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2019, they worked as the Head of Data Management at ANS (American Name Services), where they oversaw the creation and management of IT infrastructure and trained data analysts on USPS certified software. From 1998 to 1999, Ritch worked as a Computer Technician at Techserve Systems. ritch also served as a Missionary at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Jar from 1996 to 1998.

Ritch Shepherd attended Salt Lake Community College from 2015 to 2016, during which they studied alternative energy and solar. Prior to that, in 1998 to 1999, they attended Brigham Young University where they focused on Portuguese language and literature.
