Dan Martinez

Dan Martinez, CFA, currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Investment Risk at Aristotle since June 2025. Prior to this role, Dan accumulated extensive experience at Thornburg Investment Management from December 2013 to June 2025, progressing through various positions including Senior Analyst in Portfolio Analytics and Risk, Analyst in Portfolio Analytics and Risk, Senior Investment Analytics Data Specialist, Investment Data/Reporting Specialist, Senior Business Development Analyst, and Business Development Analyst. Earlier in 2013, Dan worked as a Commercial Real Estate Loan Coordinator at Washington Federal. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Management of Technology from UNM Anderson School of Management, earned between 2010 and 2011, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Operations Management and Management Information Systems from the same institution, completed in 2010.
