Jake Wamala

Jake Wamala is a member of the Aristotle Capital research team. He is responsible for fundamental company research and valuation work. Before joining Aristotle Capital, Jake was a Principal at OVO Fund in Palo Alto and an independent financial consultant working with companies and investment firms, including Ascend Capital. During his master’s program, he interned as an equity research analyst at Parnassus Investments and T. Rowe Price. Jake started his career in finance as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York and San Francisco in both the investment banking and growth equity investing divisions.

Jake earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Also, he is a former Massachusetts State Chess Champion. Outside of work, Jake enjoys rooting for Boston sports teams, teaching chess to underrepresented youth and studying Spanish.
