Ivan Gimenez has over two decades of work experience, starting as a Junior Programmer at Indra in 1998. Ivan then worked as an R&D Junior Engineer at Robert Bosch in 1999 before joining Hewlett-Packard as a Telecom Consultant in 2000. At Hewlett-Packard, Ivan was involved in pre-sales technical support and the delivery of various projects for major Spanish Telco companies.
In 2004, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Netspira Networks, where they were responsible for the technical implementation of new functionality and collaborated in functional specifications and testing.
Ivan joined Ericsson in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Software Architect and Design Manager. Ivan'sresponsibilities included managing technical R&D teams, coordinating international projects, and implementing new features in embedded DPI software.
In 2009, Ivan joined Zhilabs as a Senior Software Architect, and later became the Chief Architect. At Zhilabs, they were involved in software architecture and contributed to the improvement of their products.
From 2015 to 2017, Ivan worked as a Freelance Consultant, providing freelance consulting services.
In 2017, they joined Instaply as a Senior Backend Engineer, where they focused on backend software development, AWS DevOps, infrastructure management, and improving continuous integration procedures.
In 2019, Ivan became a Software Engineering Manager at Vintra, where they managed the software engineering team.
Currently, Ivan holds the position of Global Software & IT Director at Aritex, which they started in 2020.
Ivan Gimenez obtained a Master of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, spanning from 1992 to 1999. Ivan also acquired an Oracle DBA I certification from Oracle in 2000.
