Janelle Visser is an experienced professional with a diverse background in tourism, communications, and education. Currently serving as an Editor at Arival since August 2022, Janelle also contributes to Discover Canada Tours as a Tour Guide & Trainer, where responsibilities include leading training programs for new guides. Previous roles include Digital Media & Communications Coordinator at Discover Canada Tours and Driver at PARC Retirement Living. Janelle has also gained valuable experience as a Road Warrior for Out Here Travel and as a Business Coordinator at Laurentian Leadership Centre, overseeing operations for a university internship program. Early career experiences include positions as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, as well as various editorial and communications roles, including Managing Editor at Mars' Hill Newspaper. Janelle holds a Graduate Certificate in Tourism Management from Royal Roads University and a BA in Communications & International Studies from Trinity Western University.
