Petter Wehlin has extensive experience in engineering and product management. Theircareer began in 2013 when they joined Bulldogs Racing as a member of the Mechanical Team, where they gained experience in metalworking, milling and other power tools. In 2014, they joined Platform45 as a Programming Intern, where they employed strategies from agile development and test driven development to create Rails software solutions. Petter also attended iXperience, a 4 week intensive coding bootcamp, where they built a video conferencing app specialized for the medical industry.
In 2015, Wehlin joined Yale Biomechanics and Control Lab as an Undergraduate Researcher, leading a research project that attempted to reach a deeper understanding of human throwing. Petter also became President of Yale Scandinavian Society and began working as an Entry Level Engineer at European Spallation Source, ESS AB, where they utilized computational chemistry software to perform ab initio calculations of neutron excitation spectra. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Bomill AB, taking responsibility for designing and building a testing platform for BoMill's flagship product.
In 2016, Wehlin joined Againer as a Product Development Engineer and co-led the development of a fully functional prototype of a leg exoskeleton aimed at skiers. In 2017, they joined ARIX Technologies as a Systems Engineering Lead and Robotics Product Manager. Theirresponsibilities include Product Strategy and Planning, Project Management, interfacing between engineering and sales/marketing/operations, and overarching leadership for their robotics product portfolio.
Petter Wehlin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Malmö Borgarskola from 2010 to 2013 and obtained an IB Diploma Programme. Petter also attended Stanford University OHS from 2011 to 2012. In addition, Petter Wehlin has obtained three certifications: Real Time Radiography Certification from QSA Global, Inc. in April 2022, Product Management Professional Certification from Sequent Learning Networks in December 2021, and Pulsed Eddy Current Certification from Eddyfi Technologies in March 2020.
