Christopher Chanyi

Christopher Chanyi is a Big Data Engineer at Arize AI since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Tubi as a Data Warehouse Specialist from February 2019 to June 2021, where they built the next generation data warehouse and created a data pipeline using DBT. Christopher was also a President at Chanyi Consulting Inc. from January 2017 to February 2019. Christopher had a short-term contract at Adobe as a Big Data Architect from March 2018 to August 2018, where they identified migration potential for a large analytics application. Christopher was a Senior Data Architect at TubeMogul, Inc. from October 2009 to January 2018, where they played a key role in designing and building the scalable distributed Hadoop and Hive backend. Before that, Christopher worked as a Senior Data Architect at Illumenix from May 2007 to November 2008, where they built the backend database and warehouse system. Christopher also worked as a Senior Principal Consultant for various contracts from April 2003 to May 2008, providing Oracle and Java consulting for clients such as Accenture Consulting and IBM. Christopher was a Senior Architect at Epylon Corporation from November 2001 to April 2003 and a Senior Database Engineer at AllAdvantage from March 2000 to July 2001. Christopher started their career at Oracle as a Senior Technical Product Manager from May 1998 to March 2000.

Christopher Chanyi attended the University of Guelph from 1992 to 1995. During this time, they pursued a Specialized Honors BA degree in Computer Science.
