Animal Care Team

The Animal Care Team at the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) is responsible for the daily care and welfare of the animals under the organization’s protection. This team ensures that all animals receive appropriate medical treatment, socialization, and rehabilitation, preparing them for adoption into loving homes. Team members include Adoptions Counselors who match pets with potential adopters, Foster Specialists and Managers who oversee the foster care program, and Veterinary Technicians who provide medical care and monitor the health of the animals. Their collaborative efforts ensure that each animal receives the necessary attention and support to thrive and eventually be adopted.
