Ariel Young, PhD, is a Methodologist at Arizona Auditor General with experience as a Chief Operating Officer at Greenspace Hawaii Inc. where Ariel improved business operations. Prior to that, Ariel conducted research and managed communication at Pāhonu Beach Community Restoration Foundation Inc. and served as a Finance & IT Administrator at Greenspace Hawaii Inc. Ariel previously worked as a Budget Analyst and President* of Friends of the Missing Child Center - Hawaii, showcasing their diverse skill set in finance, research, and community leadership.

The Arizona Office of the Auditor General… Who We Are—We serve as the State’s “watchdog” by making sure agencies, counties, universities, community college districts, and school districts are using their resources (taxpayer dollars) appropriately and effectively. Our Work—Our auditors and investigators perform highly specific work and research in response to State laws and legislative requests, and produce impactful reports with recommendations for improvements. Most of these recommendations are implemented, which results in better government for Arizona citizens.
