Greg Charbeneau

Greg Charbeneau has extensive experience in the tourism and entertainment industry, focusing on marine operations and attractions. Greg began their career as a Marine Biologist at Walt Disney World's EPCOT Living Seas in 1989. Greg then worked as a Senior Aquarist and Supervisor at Sea World of Florida from 1990 to 1997.

In 1997, they joined Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration as a Curator, responsible for fishes and invertebrates, as well as serving as a Dive Safety Officer and Laboratory Manager. Greg stayed in this role until 2001 when they joined the New Jersey State Aquarium as the VP of Husbandry. During their time there, they focused on promoting aquatic education and conservation efforts.

In 2004, Charbeneau moved on to become the VP and Executive Director of Adventure Aquarium, where they oversaw the aquarium's growth and development. Greg held this position until 2011, when they became the VP and General Manager of Wild Adventures Theme Park.

Charbeneau then worked as the VP of New Business Development at Herschend Family Entertainment from 2012 to 2013, where they focused on identifying new opportunities for the company's portfolio. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Vice President of Marine Operations and Marketing at Atlantis Resorts, located in The Bahamas.

In 2016, Charbeneau joined OdySea Aquarium as the Vice President/General Manager. The aquarium quickly became a popular attraction in Scottsdale, Arizona, featuring immersive experiences and a wide range of marine animals. In May 2021, they were promoted to the role of President.

In addition, Charbeneau currently serves as the Managing Director for Arizona Boardwalk, an entertainment destination that includes OdySea Aquarium, among other attractions.

Greg Charbeneau attended Bowling Green State University from 1982 to 1987, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology.
