Erik Jones

Erik Jones is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the sports and education sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology for the Arizona Cardinals Football Club since July 2023, Erik previously held the role of Vice President of Technology at the Seattle Kraken from October 2020 to June 2023. At the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics from August 2014 to October 2020, Erik was Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer, focusing on digital transformation and strategic planning across various technology domains for 22 sports and multiple business verticals. Earlier in Erik's career, from May 2008 to August 2016, roles included Principal Investigator for the National Science Foundation and Associate Director of Research Evaluation and Information Management, where Erik directed research and IT strategic planning for a national STEM organization. Erik holds a Master's Degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
