Michael Duran

Michael Duran Sr. is an experienced security and law enforcement professional with a diverse background in public safety roles. Currently serving as a DUI Van operator at the Mesa Police Department since June 2023, Michael is responsible for preparing the mobile unit for operations. As Facility Security Manager for the Arizona Cardinals Football Club since March 2013, Michael oversees security contract fulfillment. Additionally, Michael functions as a Security Supervisor for both an NFL team and as an independent contractor, maintaining security for executive staff and managing a team of security personnel. Previous roles include Executive President of the Arizona Correctional Peace Officers Association, where Michael advocated for corrections professionals, and Investigator III within the Community Corrections Division, focusing on warrant service and parole violations. Michael holds multiple certifications in special weapons and tactics, firefighting, and criminal justice.
