Kim Covington

Kim Covington's work experience begins in 1984 at KOMU-TV, where they worked as an Anchor/Reporter, Producer, Photojournalist, and Editor until 1986. From 1986 to 1988, they served as a Reporter at KYTV 3 NBC, followed by a Reporter position at KPLR-TV 11 from 1988 to 1996. Kim then worked as an Anchor/Reporter at KSDK TV 5 NBC from 1996 to 1998 and at WZZM TV 13 ABC from 1998 to 2004. From 2005 to 2015, they served as an Anchor/Reporter at KPNX 12 News. In 2015, Kim joined the Arizona Community Foundation, initially as the Black Philanthropy Initiative Project Manager. Kim later became the Senior Philanthropic Advisor for Community Initiatives and eventually took on the role of Senior Director of Community Initiatives. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Community Initiatives at the Arizona Community Foundation. At the same time, Kim is also a Principal Partner at Covington & Co, a position they have held since 2015.

Kim Covington attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
