Jim Stelzer

Jim Stelzer is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for both Arizona Community Physicians and Abacus Health ACO since 2016 and 2017, respectively. Prior roles include Vice President of Medical Group Operations at DaVita HealthCare Partners from 2014 to 2016, where Jim developed an employed medical group for the Arizona market, and Executive Director at Scottsdale Healthcare Medical Group from 2010 to 2013, responsible for expanding the physician employment strategy and significantly growing the medical group. Prior to that, Jim was Chief Operating Officer at Banner Health: Arizona Medical Clinic from 2000 to 2010, overseeing a large multi-specialty physician group and driving substantial revenue and provider growth. Jim holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Health Care, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, both from the University of Arizona, and has foundational education from Brophy College Prep.
