Jason Laforest

Jason LaForest currently serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Arizona Department of Health Services, a position held since December 2023. Previously, Jason LaForest held the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Arizona Department of Gaming from May 2019 to November 2022 and was the Chief Financial Officer at the Arizona Corporation Commission from April 2018 to April 2019. Earlier career experiences include roles at the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as an Operational Reporting Analyst, and at the Arizona Department of Health Services as a Senior Financial Analyst and Fiscal Services Manager. Jason LaForest began their professional journey in accounting and inventory management with various roles at Shamrock Foods, Cargill, the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, RMIT University, and State Trustees. Jason LaForest holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Regional Development from the University of Arizona.
