Alan Haywood

Alan Haywood is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Captain at the Arizona Department of Public Safety since October 2018, overseeing the Nightwatch East district and leading a team dedicated to ensuring roadway safety in the Metropolitan Phoenix area. Prior to this role, Alan held various positions within the same department, including Sergeant of the Vehicular Crimes Unit and State Trooper, accumulating expertise in collision reconstruction and drug recognition. Alan’s career began in the culinary field as an Assistant Pastry Chef at The Phoenician Resort. Alan holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Rio Salado College.
