Carla Uyeda

Carla Uyeda possesses extensive experience in administrative roles with a focus on victim services and compliance management. Currently serving as an Administrative Supervisor at the Arizona Department of Public Safety since February 2016, Carla is instrumental in administering Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Assistance funds, ensuring the availability of essential services for crime victims. Previously, Carla held the position of Administrative Services Officer within the VOCA Unit, overseeing compliance and implementation for numerous subawards to victim service organizations. Prior roles include serving as an Administrative Assistant in Customer Success & Services at Intacct Corporation and as a Research Assistant at San Jose State University, where Carla contributed to research on the prisoner re-entry process. Carla earned a Master’s degree in Justice Studies from San Jose State University in 2015, following a Bachelor's degree in the same field in 2013.
