Melanie Veilleux

Melanie Veilleux, MA, MPA, is an experienced professional with a strong background in public safety and criminal justice. Currently serving as the Administrative Manager for the Arizona Department of Public Safety since November 2007, Melanie has held various leadership roles, including overseeing the Regulatory & Compliance Section and managing the Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS). Prior to this, Melanie worked as a Health Services Manager in the US Air Force Reserve, where responsibilities included managing the Drug Demand Reduction Program. Melanie's military experience also includes roles in Security Forces and as a Military Working Dog Handler in the United States Air Force. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice/Police Science.
