C McKay Nielsen

C McKay Nielsen, CFE has a diverse range of work experience in the field of finance and auditing. C McKay began their career as a Compliance Consultant at SecurityMetrics in 2011. In 2012, they worked as an Accounting Clerk at HBI Management before moving on to internships at Emersons Commercial Management US, LLC and VHA Inc. in 2013. At VHA Inc., they served as an Internal Audit Intern.

In the same year, Nielsen gained further experience at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, where they held various roles including Auditor I, Auditor II, and Auditor III. C McKay worked as an Auditor II from June 2014 to May 2015, then advanced to the position of Auditor III in June 2015 until August 2016.

Following their time at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Nielsen worked as a Financial Auditor at the Office of the Auditor General of Arizona from September 2016 to October 2017. C McKay then joined the Arizona Department of Revenue as a Financial Investigator in November 2017, where they are currently employed.

C McKay Nielsen, CFE, holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, which they completed from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, Nielsen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from Utah State University, where they attended from 2004 to 2007. Furthermore, they have also earned the Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in April 2021.
