Sophia Solis

Sophia Solis currently holds the position of Senior Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations at the Arizona Department of Revenue, having started in this role in March 2024. Prior to this, Sophia served as Deputy Communications Director at the Arizona Governor's Office and the Arizona Secretary of State from January 2023 to March 2024 and July 2019 to December 2022, respectively. Sophia's earlier experience includes roles as Public Information Officer at the Maricopa County Recorder, News Producer at Meredith Corporation, and Producer/Digital Content Producer at KJRH. Additionally, Sophia worked as an Associate Producer/Digital Content Producer at 23ABC (KERO-TV) and completed an internship at NBC News. Sophia holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine and a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
