Victor M. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of security analysis and administration. Victor started as a Functional Analyst II at ManTech in 2007, where they performed interoperability testing for HAIPE devices and handled network and system security for a classified LAN. In 2009, they became a Computer Security Analyst II at Northrop Grumman, where they triaged security incidents, analyzed NIDS logs, and tracked security inquiries. Victor then joined TASC in 2010 as an Information Assurance Analyst Engineer II, certifying compliance with security standards and writing POA&Ms reports. Victor worked at Stara Technologies, Inc. in 2012 as a Customer Support Representative Tech II, providing network and system administration support. In the same year, they became a Security Analyst at Phacil Inc, responsible for troubleshooting and facilitating CIRT operations for ICE. Victor later joined Dell Inc. in 2015 as a Security Analyst, managing McAfee ePO and deploying patches and updates. Currently, they are a Senior Security Analyst at the Arizona Department of Revenue's Security Operations Center, where they conduct continuous monitoring and deploys new security tools.
Victor M. attended Cochise College from 1999 to 2002, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. Victor also obtained a high school diploma from Buena High School. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Security + certification from CompTIA in January 2008. Additionally, they completed the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCSA v2.16) Course from Linux Academy, and they also received the Linux Essentials certification from LPI.
