Alicia Urban

Senior Drainage Engineer at Arizona Department of Transportation

Alicia Urban is a highly experienced Senior Drainage Engineer at ADOT, overseeing the review of construction plans for various projects since January 2014. Previously, Alicia served as a Project Manager for Drainage Design at HNTB, leading the drainage design for the I-405 Design-Build project in Los Angeles. Earlier experience includes roles at J2 Engineering and Environmental Design, where Alicia was responsible for drainage design on public works projects, and positions at Stantec and Northwest Hydraulic Consultants, focusing on drainage for land development and conducting FEMA flood insurance studies, respectively. Alicia holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and both an M.S. and PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, specifically from the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory.
