Catherine M. Vale is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in performance auditing and education. Currently serving as a Senior Performance Auditor at the Arizona Department of Transportation since August 2022, Catherine previously held roles at the Arizona Auditor General and AmeriCorps, focusing on performance audits and community initiatives related to college readiness. In academia, Catherine has taught history courses at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University, in addition to serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Catherine holds a PhD in Public/Applied History, along with an MA and BA in History from Arizona State University, further complemented by educational experiences at the University of Virginia.
