Chris Slivka

Assistant Director, Player Development at Arizona Diamondbacks

Chris Slivka has a diverse range of work experience in the sports industry. Chris started as an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Munster High School in 2013, where they coached and mentored student athletes. In 2014, they interned as a Risk Management Intern at Centier Bank, where they conducted data analysis for the bank's quarterly economic report. From 2013 to 2014, they also served as a Research Analyst/Intern at the Association for the Protection of Collegiate Athletes, where they collected and analyzed data on collegiate athletic programs. In 2015, they worked as a Youth Development Coach/Intern for the Cleveland Guardians, focusing on teaching baseball fundamentals to children aged 6-14. Chris then joined Emory University as a Sports Analytics Teaching and Research Assistant, where they provided research support and assisted in organizing the Emory Sports Analytics Conference. Since 2016, Chris has been employed by the Arizona Diamondbacks, starting as a Baseball Operations Intern and gradually advancing to positions such as Baseball Operations Assistant, Pro Scout, and currently serving as a Player Personnel Analyst.

Chris Slivka received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Finance, Strategy, and Management from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, where they attended from 2012 to 2016.
