Peter Sharbaugh has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Peter started their career in 2007 as an 8th grade math teacher at Dysart Unified School District, where they implemented CGI and small group instruction in mathematics. Peter also organized and maintained data from benchmark tests and AIMS tests. In 2011, Peter worked as a Legends Racer at the Arizona Diamondbacks, where they were responsible for creating and performing in the famous Legends Race. Peter then joined Tolleson Elementary School District in 2012 as an 8th grade math teacher, where they continued to implement innovative teaching methods and manage data collection. From 2013 to 2015, Peter worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Incito Schools, where they implemented problem-based learning and integrated multiple subjects into the mathematics curriculum. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Ticket Manager at the Arizona Fall League. Peter then served as a Warehouse Manager at Girl Scouts of the USA in early 2016. Since March 2016, they have been working at Maricopa County, initially as an MCESA Data Coordinator and later as a CSS Videographer and Data Coordinator. Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Peter Sharbaugh obtained a Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Life Coaching from Grand Canyon University between 2017 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Oakland University, which they completed between 2002 and 2006. In addition to their degrees, Peter also obtained a certification in Arizona Elementary Education in August 2006.
