Matt Bruton serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matt has had a long tenure at Arizona Snowbowl Resort, starting as a Controller in 2007 and progressing through various positions, including Auditor, Acting HR/Administrative Manager, Financial Analyst, and Finance Manager. Responsibilities have included payroll facilitation, accounting team leadership, employee management, and the development of tracking systems for time off. Matt's experience also encompasses work with the Peace Corps as a Sustainable Community Development volunteer, where contributions focused on enhancing community projects and improving local business practices. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Northern Arizona University, awarded in 2008.
Arizona Snowbowl Resort
Located on the majestic San Francisco Peaks, Arizona Snowbowl is just 7 miles outside of Flagstaff, Arizona, 2 hours from Phoenix, and 70 miles from the Grand Canyon. The resort opened in 1938 and is one of the oldest continually operated ski areas in the country. Arizona Snowbowl features 55 trails, eight lifts, three terrain parks, state-of-the-art snowmaking, on-mountain dining options, and Ski Lift Lodge and Cabins. With a peak elevation of 11,500 feet and average of 260 inches of snowfall, Arizona Snowbowl is a true gem of the Southwest ski scene.
