Amanda L. Perkins

Amanda L. Perkins, CPA, M.Ed. has a strong background in finance, auditing, and compliance. Amanda L. began their career in 2003 as an Audit Senior at the Office of the Auditor General of Arizona, where they led a team of auditors and ensured compliance with auditing standards. In 2008, they joined the University of Arizona as a Senior Auditor in Internal Audit, specializing in business practice evaluation and federal grant compliance. During their time there, they also developed and supervised the Student Intern program. Amanda L. later transitioned to the role of Assistant Director of Finance at Arizona AHEC. Currently, Amanda serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, a position they have held since 2024.

Amanda L. Perkins, CPA, M.Ed. obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 2010. Amanda L. also attended Arizona State University for Advanced Analytics in Higher Education coursework, starting in 2018. Amanda L. holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona. Additionally, they are a certified public accountant (CPA), registered with the Arizona State Board of Accountancy.
