Jim Miller is an accomplished writer and watchmaker with extensive experience in the automotive and motorcycle industries. Since 1991, Miller has worked as a writer for Miller's Ink, contributing technical and road-test copy to major automotive publications such as Automobile, Car and Driver, and Motor Trend. As a certified watchmaker with credentials from both the American Watchmakers and Clockmakers Association and the Swiss and American Watchmakers Training Alliance, Miller operates in Tucson and holds a degree in Watchmaking and Micro-technology. Additionally, Miller has served as a docent at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum since 2005, offering visitor tours and information about the Sonoran Desert. Previous roles include managing editor positions at Cycle and Road & Track Specials, along with a senior editor role at Motor Trend. Educational background includes a BS in Mathematics, English Language & Literature from Eastern Michigan University and ongoing studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at the same institution, alongside an associate's degree in watchmaking from Oklahoma State University.
