Karen al-Ashkar

Karen Al-Ashkar has extensive experience in educational and outreach roles, currently serving as a Docent at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum since January 2011. Prior to this position, Karen held the role of Director of Student Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 1995 to November 2008. Karen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Adult and Continuing Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1994 and 2005, following a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Clinical Chemistry from Edgewood College.
