Tamera Wilson is an accomplished privacy and records management professional with extensive experience in safeguarding personal identifiable information (PII). As the Privacy Officer at ASRS since December 2014, Tamera has been responsible for conducting self-privacy assessments, overseeing data classification, and ensuring comprehensive documentation and security throughout the data lifecycle. Tamera has served as the Privacy-Records Officer for the Arizona State Retirement System since November 2005, where responsibilities include training personnel in handling sensitive PII. Additionally, Tamera has a background as a Membership Accounting Manager, focusing on project implementation, contribution accounting, and records management. Tamera holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Utah State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Westminster University.
