Ashley O'Brion has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Ashley currently serves as the Director of Development for the ASU Foundation for A New American University, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Phoenix Children's Hospital from June 2014 to April 2022, first as a Development Officer and later as a Philanthropy Officer. Before that, they served as a Fundraising Coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association from December 2012 to June 2014. Ashley also worked at Friendship Haven, where they held the positions of Development Coordinator from April to December 2012 and Wellness Director from June 2008 to March 2012. Additionally, they were a THRiVE Intern at UnityPoint Health from January to May 2008.
Ashley O'Brion pursued their education at Iowa State University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Following this, they continued their educational journey at Des Moines Area Community College from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued a certification in Gerontology Specialist.
