Huw Owen

Huw Owen is the Chief Executive Officer of Ark Data Centres, a role held since November 2012, focusing on the design, construction, and operation of high integrity data centres that prioritize security, availability, and sustainability. Prior to Ark, Huw served as President of BT Global Health at BT Global Services from October 2011 to October 2012, and as Managing Director & Vice President at HP ES Defence & Security Ltd from April 2010 to June 2011. Huw's career also includes a tenure at EDS, an HP Company, where Huw was the CEO of the ATLAS Consortium and Vice President from 1998 to 2009. Huw's educational background includes articles at Farrer & Co, a BA Honours in Public Administration from the University of Wales, Bangor, and completion of legal qualifications at the University of South West England (Bristol).
