Eduardo Mestre

COO at Ark Foods

Ed Mestre is the current COO at Ark Foods. Ed has also held positions at Zedge, Rocketrip, Inc., High Peaks Venture Partners, and Knowtorious.

Mestre began their career as a marketing and business development summer intern at Kohort in May 2012. Ed then became a co-founder of Knowtorious in April 2013. In June 2012, they also took on the role of summer associate at High Peaks Venture Partners, conducting meetings with entrepreneurs and evaluating potential fund investments.

In November 2013, Mestre became an independent consultant for Rocketrip, Inc. There they sized the market, identified the business model and pricing structure, and crafted the go-to-market strategy for Rocketrip. Ed also built a comprehensive model to test the effect on profitability of all key business decisions. During their time with Rocketrip, Mestre worked directly with the CEO to create company marketing materials and presentation which helped the company successfully raise $2.6 million in VC funding.

From February 2014 to January 2016, Mestre served as the Senior Director of Business Development at Zedge. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing all aspects of Zedge's corporate development and strategic partnerships initiatives.

Ed Mestre has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Wharton School with concentrations in operations, entrepreneurship, and a B.A. from Duke University in public policy and Spanish.

They are on a team with Tieraney Planasch - Director of QA & Production, Lou Terrulli - Director of Sourcing & Farm Development, and Anne Rasmussen - Director of Operations. Ed Mestre reports to Noah Robbins, Founder & CEO.
